I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
