This character possesses the power to change into an perfect replica of anyone they’ve touched with their main hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that role re-envisioned as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the source material and cartoon version.

The new cast member will work alongside multiple new cast members tasked with bringing the organization to the screen, featuring chief the main antagonist, brought to life by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who also joins the ensemble as the monarch of Alabasta.

Though the role is a important part of the organization, the character won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Considering the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this marks a notable change in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate additional alterations to the plot development.

Escola’s blend of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the character.
